Okay, I have a confession, we have been playing hooky a lot this summer. It has simply been too hot work or too pretty outside to concentrate. That said, our progress in our history curriculum has been slow and steady. So far we have managed to cover Creation, Adam and Eve, and Jubal and Tubal-Cain. Although our progress has been slow, our adventures have been great and we are enjoying discovering
The Mystery of History.

- Creation: Day 3..God created land... Making salt dough

- Creation: Pressing salt dough into land form mold

Adam named all the animals...Shane and Nigel took a hand at creating and naming an orginal creature.

- Antilacheta, Nigel's orginal animal creation. Antilachetas fly and live on land, eats carrots, vegetables and grass. Does not eat meat. It's newborn are hatch from eggs and worm like when born. Prefers icy weather.

- Kakalena, Shane's orginal creation. Kakalenas fly, live in water and on land, eats meat, grass, and vegetables. The newborn do not hatch from eggs and are fat and round at birth. Kakalenas are strong enough to fly through a tornado storm. Painting musical instrument.
Jubal and Tubal-Cain, descendents of Adam and Eve, were half brothers with great talents. Jubal was great musician and Tubal-Cain was a bronze and ironmaker.

- Making shakers from beans and pringles' can. I not sure which they enjoyed more, eating the pringles or making the shakers.Glueing decorative paper on pringles can.

- Nigel sanding his wooden wash board to ensure his musical sound come out smooth.

- Painting wooden musical instrument.

- Field trip to blacksmith
